After waiting in line for an hour last night I got my iPhone 3G. Although I cannot use the 3G since it is not in my area, yet. So far so good though. I don’t mind the EDGE speed. I have never owned a smartphone before, so having internet and email on the go all the time is a pleasure, welcomed at any speed.The $85 a month is going to be harsh, especially next year when I am in college, but I will find a way. I guess you could call this a review, but everyone already knows the answer; the iPhone 3G is awesome, and it always will. The network has some work to do though. For example; at my work with my Verizon phone i had full service, but now with my iPhone I have no service in the building, but when I walk outside I have full EDGE service. Steel roofs suck, but AT&T should be able to get me service in there if Verizon can.
All in all, I love my iPhone and would not give it up for anything in the world. Well maybe not anything, but it would have to be pretty good.
